REGARDING THE BELTS: Procutlery has a custom-made belt they had made just for the use of this machine. It is far better than the one that was provided with the machine. It is a bit expensive at $4.00 per belt but considering it lasts so much longer and does not break makes it worth the price. It also eliminates the need for a heavier grit belt. The amount of pressure used will either take more or less off the edge you are sharpening.
